Berserk Generation was founded in 2026 by Anyanwu Peter Amarachukwu, popularly known as MACIEN, but the story began years before the name itself existed.
Our journey started in 2023 under Top Rated Esports, where MACIEN was one of the founding players of a roster that would soon redefine Nigerian Free Fire esports. From the moment the team was assembled, success followed.
The roster captured the Infinix Gaming Masters 2023 (Clash Cup) in Lagos, then a fraction of Top Rated Team 2, led by MACIEN, made history by winning Gamr X2 — then the biggest Free Fire tournament in Nigeria, boasting a $15,000 prize pool. Back-to-back LAN championships shocked the Nigerian esports community and marked the beginning of one of the country's most dominant competitive eras.
As the team evolved into TR Supreme, the momentum only grew stronger.
Throughout 2024, the roster successfully defended its dominance by winning the Infinix Gaming Masters 2024, finishing among the Top 3 at Gamr X3, securing another Top 3 finish at Cade 2024, and claiming multiple African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) championships. By the end of the season, the team had established itself as one of the most feared names in Nigerian mobile esports.
The winning culture continued into 2025.
A series of championship performances attracted the attention of 3 Crowns Esports, leading to a partnership in which the roster represented the organization as its official Free Fire division. During this period, the team finished 2nd place in the Nigeria Free Fire Pro League (NFL) 2025, further cementing its position among Africa's elite.
Then came the defining moment.
In February 2026, the roster won the Free Fire Clash Cup Nigeria, becoming the first team from Sub-Saharan Africa to win an official Garena Free Fire championship — a $6,000 prize pool — and securing a historic place in African esports. The victory represented the peak of an extraordinary chapter and marked the conclusion of the team's journey with 3 Crowns Esports.
With a legacy already established, a new vision was born.
Following the historic victory, Berserk Generation was launched as an independent esports organization — not simply to compete, but to build Africa's next generation of culture.
Since its creation, Berserk Generation has continued to prove its competitive excellence by reaching the Free Fire Esports World Cup (EWC) Africa Qualifier Finals before winning the Free Fire Deca Cup 2026, further strengthening its reputation as Nigeria's most decorated Free Fire organization — with one of the country's richest collections of championship titles and prize earnings over $20,000.
Today, Berserk Generation represents far more than a successful esports team.
It represents ambition, creativity, excellence, and the belief that African talent deserves a global stage.
Every trophy we lift is another step toward building a generation that dares to dream bigger.
